Filmmaker Demands Rs 10 Lakh To Support A Social Cause!

It's all about money in Bollywood.
So the story goes, an NGO working towards the betterment of farmers to curb their high rate of suicides, approached a successful filmmaker with a simple request - endorse the cause on social media and encourage people to make significant contributions.
The filmmaker, who has had two duds back-to-back and is currently directing a star-studded movie, was more than happy to be a part of the charitable cause. Of course, given his amiable nature and way with words, he would be a good fit.
But wait, he too had a 'simple request' of his own: Pay me Rs. 10 lakh or else, I'm out!
The NGO officials were obviously horrified by the producer-director's demand. They couldn't believe that he wanted a fat pay cheque, to lend his support to a social issue.
But then, didn't they know there's no such thing as free lunches? At least, not in B-town.
